THE X STUDIO
A good RFP saves everyone time. You get accurate quotes. Agencies understand your needs. No back-and-forth clarifying basic requirements.
What to Include
1. Project Overview
Describe your business, your audience, and why you need a website. Be honest about budget and timeline.
2. Scope of Work
List every page, feature, and functionality. Be specific: "Contact form with name, email, phone, message fields that sends to admin@example.com" not "contact form."
3. Technical Requirements
CMS preferences, hosting requirements, payment gateways, third-party integrations. Mention if you need SEO setup, analytics, or ongoing maintenance.
4. Design Preferences
Reference websites you like (and why). Brand guidelines if you have them. Color palette, fonts, visual style.
5. Budget Range
Agencies can't quote accurately without knowing your budget. Range is fine: "₹50,000-₹1,00,000" gives enough context.
